Is it hard to get a job in the legal sector in Spain as a foreigner / English speaker?
Quote from lbentey on February 5, 2025, 12:45 pmHello,
I have always wanted to work in Spain for a year or so and thinking of doing it soon. However, I only have experience in legal work, especially conveyancing. I can speak some Spanish at the minute and would be willing to learn more but realistically won't be fluent. Will this make a job as a legal secretary for instance too hard? I also have experience teaching law to 16-18 year olds. Would this help me secure a job?
Thank you for any input!

Quote from Seasonal Jobs Abroad on February 7, 2025, 10:00 amThis is a challenge but not impossible. Spain has a very high unemployment rate and also for a skill position like law usually you will need to be fluent in Spanish. You might find some companies though who recruit English speakers in the expat areas and larger cities, some Spanish companies also require native English speakers for international work.
