Do I need a bachelor's degree to teach English overseas?

I want to travel and teach English, but I can't afford to do university. I don't want to sign up for student loans and end up in debt. Does teaching English or even volunteering overseas require a bachelor's degree?

More and more a degree (in any field) is required to secure the work visa you will need to legally teach English in many countries. In the countries where a degree is not a legal requirement, employers may simply pass on you as people with degrees will be favoured.
There are a few places out there where it's not necessary. Cambodia and Ecuador pop into mind.
