Can you find jobs in Utrecht as an English speaker?

Hey!
I am a native english speaker, hoping to head to Utrecht for my masters. I have an EU passport, and so I am allowed to work, but I am unable to find any info online as to whether or not I will be able to find work.

I am not too fussed what I do. though prefer not to work night shifts. I have worked in all sorts of jobs in the past - travel agent, english teacher (no TEFL), flight attendant, bar attendant, paralegal so have a wide range of skills.

Do you think I'd be able to find anything??? Thanks.

I think you could find something, but getting a job in the Netherlands which you regularly have to speak with people - like the jobs you mention - will be pretty hard, as it is mostly required to be able to speak Dutch. Although with your experience as a bar attendant you could maybe find a job like that in an Irish pub or something. While a few years ago it was only common in Amsterdam to hire people who didn't speak Dutch as a bar tender, waitress, so on, it is now getting a bit more common in other cities too. But you will get paid way less than Dutch people. Also you can try yo get a job somewhere in or around the University. I don't give you any chance in teaching English, as most Dutch people speak English themselves quite often. Most work opportunities for foreigners are in factories and working in greenhouses (both not in the city of Utrecht).

Good luck!
