Can I enter the UK on a tourist visa and find work when there?
It has been my lifelong dream to live in England, but I have no idea how to move there and get a work visa. As far as I can tell, you have to already have been set up with a UK job to have a work visa. Am I supposed to just go as a tourist and apply? Because you need to have proof you can legally work in the country, and that is what the work visa is for. How in the world does this all work? I really don't want to get there by going to school since I wouldn't be able to afford that. Please give any advice you can, I REALLY need it! Also, to any UK employers, I have a bit of work experience in my profile and I am learning to use correct BrE grammar and pronunciation. Please get back to me so we might be able to work something out. I should think there must be something someone can do to help me.
