Visa, Eligibility & Requirements
If you are from a Nordic country (Finland, Iceland, Norway, or Sweden) you do not need any type of visa to work in Denmark. Jobs in Denmark for Non-Eu Citizens
If you are from a country outside of Scandinavia or the EU, you will need to apply for a visa or get sponsored by a company. Keep in mind you cannot apply for work or residence if you enter Denmark with a Schengen Tourist Visa. These only allow you to stay in the country for 90 days. You will have to apply for a residence and work permit if you wish to stay longer.

Language
Denmark has one official language: Danish, and this is a difficult language to learn. Most Danes can speak and understand English but knowing basic Danish will really help you to integrate into the county and also improve your employment prospects. You could study online or book a course once in the country. Most recruiters especially for professional jobs will require you to have Danish speaking, writing and oral language skills. Some employers do offers jobs just in English though, especially travel and tour operators.

Danish krone is the official currency of Denmark. The plural is kroner. The currency is abbreviated to DKK and its symbol is kr. Salaries here are high compared to world standards.
