Chilly Powder have been operating luxury catered and self-catering chalet ski holidays and summer activity holidays since 1996.
In winter, the ski pistes from Morzine Avoriaz descend straight into our back garden and the main cable car, just a very short walk from all 3 chalets takes you to the heart of Morzine Avoriaz skiing with the best access to the vast Portes du Soleil ski area. In summer, Morzine transforms into a haven of mountain activities, great views, exhilarating sports and fresh air.
Working a Ski Season
Each winter many of our team of Chalet Hosts, Chefs, Room Assistants and Nannies return to us for another season. However, we always have vacancies too and we begin the recruitment process nice and early so that we can find the best of the best to work with us.
At Chilly Powder you’re more than just a team member – you are always a really important part of every guest experience, regardless of your role. Working for Chilly Powder during the winter season is different to working for many other winter tour operators. Included in our employment packages are:
- French Contract with a very competitive wage
- Working 5 or 6 days per week
- A shared bedroom in nice accommodation
- Full training and development opportunities for all roles
- Hearty homemade meals whilst on duty
- A fun and friendly yet professional team atmosphere for you to enjoy your winter season
The Recruitment Process
If you feel that you have the required skills and experience for any of our vacancies, please send your covering letter, CV and a recent photograph. We will quickly let you know if we are interested in progressing with your application and this will usually be followed up by an informal Skype interview. Before your interview we will usually ask one of your previous employers for a reference.
If you are offered a position with us, an offer letter follows and we arrange for the whole team to come to Morzine to begin training mid December. Please note – it’s important that you only apply for a season role if you are available for the whole season from December until April
Due to French employment rules, we can only accept applicants who have the right to work in France which means EU passport holders or non-Eu passport holders that have a French working visa. British passport holders will need to have already obtained or applied for a carte de séjour.
