How to Work Abroad as a Bartender
You can find short term jobs for summer or winter, or long term careers. Where you go really depends on your interests, and visa eligibility.
If you like the idea of a working holiday you could travel somewhere like Australia, New Zealand or Canada. These jobs are popular with backpackers and are very social.
For summer, you could apply to work in a popular tourism destination where thousands of staff are hired every season. For winter, over the festive period bars especially need staff to cope with demand or abroad, ski resorts hire international workers too.
Requirements
Most recruiters will require experience of working in a bar, and if you have any other qualifications this will be beneficial for example awards in the hospitality industry e.g. Level 1/2 Awards in Professional Food and Beverage Service Skills which can be taken in the UK. If you have any specific experience for example security you can find bouncer jobs abroad in bars and clubs.
